Browsing the site

Boxer Dog HQ currently has no visitor accounts or newsletter sign-up. Fonts and site images are served with the website rather than requested from a third-party font provider.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics through the Google tag to understand how visitors use the website. The tag loads a script from Google and sends analytics information to Google. See Google’s privacy policy for information about how Google handles data.

Your puppy checklist

When you tick a checklist item, the site saves the IDs of completed tasks in your browser’s local storage under boxerdoghq:puppy-checklist:v1. It does not ask for your name, email address or details about your dog.

The checklist does not send your ticks to our server. They remain in that browser until you reset the checklist or remove the site’s browser data. They do not automatically move to another device. If storage is unavailable, you can still use the checklist during the current visit and print it.

Guide search

Search and topic filtering happen within the page. The site does not send your search words to a search provider or store them as a search history.

Website delivery

The production site is configured for Cloudflare hosting. Delivering a website involves technical connection information such as an IP address and request details. Cloudflare describes its data handling in its privacy policy. Hosting settings and service logs are separate from the checklist’s local storage.

Links and email

External source links take you to other websites with their own privacy arrangements. If you send an email to a published contact address, the information in your message will be handled through the publisher’s email service. This site does not currently provide a contact form.
